Personal Information
I grew up as an ARMY brat so I have constantly moved throughout my life and love to travel. I believe we live in a beautiful world and we need to experience the wonderful world we live in.
Often we get boggled down by the negative things that we forget to see the things that are right in front of us. I love just getting out going on day trips and road trips to see what there is to explore. I love the outdoors especially the beaches. I love to learn so I am constantly attending graduate level courses to deepen my knowledge and become a better therapist.I have spent the last 11 years supporting the military and their families which meant I got to return to my childhood and allow work to take me on more travels!

Anxiety, depression, stress, phase of life Issues, trauma, relationship problems, parenting, work problems, grief etc.
Do one of these issues fit what you are dealing with today? If the below questions are something you ask yourself, therapy would be a great place for you.
- How did I get from there to here?
- Will happiness ever be something I experience again or is this just the best that it gets?
- Will I always have to smile and pretend like I have the perfect life or is there anyone I can trust?
- Will I ever not have that feeling in the pit of my stomach where i’m paralyzed and scared to do or say anything?
- Who have I become? I do not even recognize who I am now that I am back from deployment? My spouse and kids do not understand me and they just want more and more from me and I have nothing left to give.
- Who is this person I am married to? Why do we no longer agree on anything? When is the last time we actually had a conversation?
- Why won’t my children stop fighting? Why won’t they just listen and stop being so disrespectful?
- Why can’t I ever find someone to settle down with and start a family?

Approach
Each individual is on a different journey in life and the same should be true of the therapy process. I believe therapy is about hand picking what is best and most comfortable for the individual on their journey. This is why I believe in an eclectic approach to therapy enabling me to tailor therapy to the needs and comfort of YOU the client. We will work together to come up with the best plan for YOU.
I tend to use a combination of cognitive behavioral, psychodynamic, dialectical behavioral, mindfulness, EMDR and Gottman method to make a treatment plan that will best meets YOUR needs.
We will begin our process together with a biopsychological assessment. From there, we will discover your strengths and weaknesses and establish a plan of treatment to bring about the change YOU are desiring. I believe that overcoming our weaknesses can make us even better!
Often in life, we think we do not need help and we continue faking it and struggling inside to make it. The biggest strength you can have is to reach out for the support that is right in front of you and learn the strategies to win the war that you are battling. Mend you heart, mind and soul and allow these circumstances to make you better then you were before. Live the BEST LIFE. -
