Are there any additional upfront costs?

Nope! Setup and training are included. There’s no additional upfront costs – just the regular monthly fee.

How does iTherapy compare to SimplePractice or another EHR?

How long does it take to get everything set up?

We usually have all your accounts set up within 2 business days of your completed registration forms. Immediately after you complete registration, we make training videos available. After your accounts are created, we follow up with live, personalized training.

How does iTherapy compare to Betterhelp or Talkspace?

With other sites, they’re in control. They set your rates and determine who you work with. With iTherapy, you’re not working for us – we work with you. You’re in charge of your rates, your marketing, what (if any) insurance you accept, and what clients you see. You get the freedom to be your own boss and set your own schedule, we make it all as simple as possible.

Can you help with credentialing, marketing, website development, or virtual assistant?

Yes! We offer a concierge service where we help connect you with whatever additional services you need to grow and scale your practice.

How long is the contract?

There’s no contract! Unless you choose to pay annually, you’ll be on a month-to-month plan that you can make changes to or cancel at any time for any reason.

Will I be able to do online sessions with groups and couples?

Yes! You can hold online video sessions with up to 99 participants! That means couples can be in different locations or groups can be spread across all the areas you’re licensed.

Can I send automated appointment reminders?

Of course! Our system will send automated reminders via email to your clients before their appointment.

Do you offer a free trial?

Because of our in-depth, live training we offer every new iTherapy provider, we are unable to provide a free trial. Instead, we offer a free iTherapy demo, and you’re more than welcome to ask any questions you may have during the demo.

Can I change my plan later?

Yes! You’re not locked into a plan. Many of our providers have started with the Online+ plan only to later upgrade to more. Also, some of our solo practices have since expanded to group practices! We’ve been happy to support them in that journey as well.

Do you include form templates like informed consent?

Yes! We have templates for informed consent, privacy practices, and an intake questionnaire all included with our Electronic Health record (EHR) platform.

If my client is going out of state, can I continue to provide them therapy virtually?
