Is life a struggle? Are your relationships causing you distress? Do you feel anxious, sad, or fearful too much of the time. Do you find yourself comparing or feeling "less than" others. Is it hard to communicate with your loved ones? Do you want help in creating change that is lasting? Often we remain unaware of the limitations we place on ourselves and need a trained outside observer to help us recognize and change behaviors that keep us stuck. Together in therapy we focus on what you need to create a fulfilling life where you can feel connected and present with others and yourself. I will help you claim the happiness and emotional well being you deserve.

Approach
The negative thoughts you hold about yourself may hinder your ability to let in love and other positive emotions. I help people recognize how their current identity may be linked to outdated negative messages - often messages we absorbed in our childhoods that are still affecting and impacting our current lives. I can help with attachment and relationship issues, eating disorders, generalized sadness and anxiety. I use a number of different approaches including guided imagery, EMDR, cognitive behavioral therapy, talk therapy (problem solving and insight oriented) and mindful living. We will create together a treatment path reflective of your personal goals that will work. After all don't you deserve a better life?
