Hello. I am licensed with the state of Texas as a professional counselor with one mission in mind; helping my clients rise above their circumstances. I have over 20 years of experience in helping others, eight of which were in a hospital setting, and 5+ years as a licensed professional.

Personal Information
My passion to help others began as a young girl. Inspiring people to believe in themself and find a uniqueness about themself to be proud of defined my middle name so to speak. I gently reminded the listener to believe in the possibility of achieving their dreams. I soon began to realize that one of my life's purposes is to inspire people and help them overcome obstacles in their life so that they are able to flourish. Since becoming a professional counselor, I have helped my clients develop skills that allow them to reach new heights in spite of past events or recent difficulties in their life. I have provided tools to help my clients achieve goals they never thought possible, and for other clients, assisted them with finding peace of mind.

My competency in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy has been reviewed and certified by the Academy of Cognitive Therapy. I incorporate other modalities of therapy as individually needed. My counseling style is interactive, structured when appropriate, and focused on my client. This means I can help you to cope much better with your current challenge and give you the tools to cope with future ones too. My goal is to assist you in taking your life back by learning how to manage the stressors that can disrupt mental health and emotional stability. My goal is also to provide a safe haven for you to rise above insecurities while erasing doubt and awakening potential. In summary, my goal is to empower you to break through the roadblocks that are in the way of becoming YOUR BEST SELF.
