Personal Information
Hi! I'm Danielle. This is that cool area where I get to stop being a therapist and tell you all about myself. I feel that the most important aspect of therapy, the one that contributes the most to your success, is what we in the biz call Therapeutic Rapport. That's a nifty way of saying that we have a good relationship where you feel safe, respected, and cared for. You can share anything because this is a "safe space" where you won't be judged. You know that feeling when you're talking to someone and you think "yes! They get it!" In a nutshell, that's it. I strive to develop that kind of relationship with all of my clients. If there is nowhere else in this world where you feel you can safely be authentically who you are and speak your mind, I hope you find that here.
On a personal note....
I live in Florida, transplanted from Nebraska because it doesn't snow here. I find my peace in nature. I love the beach, the sun, and the outdoors. In between sessions I am usually riding my horse, trying to convince my garden to grow vegetables, paddle boarding, or reading at the beach.

Approach
My passion is helping people find peace and balance in their lives. We have all things we struggle with, and sometimes we need help finding a way to overcome them. I love working with my clients to help them learn new ways to approach their problems. I proudly practice eclectic therapy, which is a flexible and integrative approach. This means that rather than strict adherence to one particular approach or school of thought I employ elements from a range of therapeutic techniques, which allows me to tailor my approach for your specific goals and needs. This allows for a personalized experience for each client, rather than a "one size fits all" approach.
I believe that the most important part of therapy is the relationship between you and your therapist. My goal is to create a safe space where you are free to share who you are, what you need, and find what works for you. When you make the choice to engage in therapy, you are taking the first step towards taking your life back. I fully appreciate how hard taking that first step can be, and I know how scary it can feel to reach out. I see the hope and courage of every person who enters my "office". I am constantly humbled by both the pain and joys my clients share with me. I work very hard to create an open, safe, judgement-free space for all of my clients, so you too can feel comfortable and safe to be authentically who you are.

Services & Rates
Individual sessions:
60 minute session - $150
30 minute session - $85
Insurance
I do not accept insurance. This is done so intentionally to protect your privacy and give you the care you are asking for. You can rest easy knowing your information is being kept private and confidential, and you have complete control over the care you receive rather than allowing your insurance company to dictate care.
However, I am happy to provide clients with a Superbill. If you would like to, you are welcome to submit this to your insurance company for out of network reimbursement following your sessions. There is no guarantee that an insurance provider will reimburse for services, but most clients are successful in obtaining reimbursement. Contact your insurance provider to see if they accept out of network provider billing statements.
