Who is Darcie Kelly? Well, I am a woman, a mother, and a Social Worker. For some of us, mostly in the helping fields, a big part of our identity is our occupation. When it comes to helping others, it’s a need you have, a passion. I didn’t know what a Social Worker was, yet I was already a young Social Worker!

As a teen and young adult, friends came to me looking to talk, get things off their chest, no judgement, and a little validation for once. Sometimes real help was needed. An emergency car ride, borrowing money to take care of things, watching out for her while she’s so drunk she’s throwing up.

There was something about me that made them feel safe. I intend to bring that safe feeling to your therapy.

You deserve to be heard, respected, not judged. You deserve to be validated and have support. When we are strong, we are ready to be challenged in our old ways of thinking so we can let go of the past. This is not going to be easy, but it is achievable.

Healing is a journey. You’ve been on a journey thus far; it got you here. Learn to live in the moment, be present, and understand who you are, and what you want in life. What would you like to see different in your future?

Darcie Kelly is a seasoned clinician, experienced with working with a variety of populations. She is an artist, and has worked many mediums over the years, including stained glass, watercolors, pencil, pen and ink, sculpture/clay art, and etching, which assists in art therapy.
