If you are struggling, I believe your story should be told 100 times, sometimes more, to heal. I would love to help you get to that "a-ha" moment of your life. My passion is to be present with you, to help you grow in a direction you choose, to help you feel respected, appreciated, loved and heard. I am honored you are considering me to help you you discover a new way of thinking and feeling about yourself. I am a realistic optimist and I want to bring hope to you in your real situation.
I specialize with first responders, families of first responders, and the LGBTQIA community with Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, but I also help clients that struggle with depression and anxiety. I believe in a unique person-centered, TF-CBT, and strengths-based approach to therapy.
My practice is 100% online, which is affordable and convenient for many people, especially parents, first responders, and hard-working individuals. No traffic or commute, easy to access, open scheduling, and the focus is on you. Couples and family work also available online. Confidential and effective!
My partner is a firefighter and I am a former teacher and current therapist. I experience second-hand trauma through her work as a first responder. I have first-hand experience with LGBTQIA discrimination and its emotional effects. I also have over 15 years working with high school students and their families.
I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California #5004. I graduated with Honors from Walden University with a Masters in Science in Mental Health Counseling and Arizona State University with a BA in Spanish.

I am officially trained as a psychodynamic therapist. But, I quickly learned that I like to use Cognitive-Behavioral techniques to help speed up the healing process for some clients. I am a realistic optimist, bring hope and reality to the client. With those who are struggling with grief, I believe their story should be told 100 times, sometimes more, to heal. For those who have anxiety, I believe the CBT approach works best to eradicate unnecessary thoughts. For adolescents, I use a mix of person centered approaches to empathize with the client and help them feel understood. Overall, my approach is unique to each client as we determine goals and processes together.
