Megan Crittenden is a licensed psychotherapist in Idaho LPC-3623, California LMFT48956 and Minnesota LPC #02010. She is a skilled and compassionate seeker of personal truth and will guide you in being your own warrior in pursuit of your authentic self who is calling for honoring, help and healing. She believes it is vital to our health and wellbeing that we all reach out for help in those places; in the darkest corners of ourself, often we need another to be with us through that difficult terrain before healing can occur.
Megan loved growing up in the midwest but moved west for her master's program following college. She enjoyed the adventure and travel of experiencing new terrain and meeting new people; all the while learning more about herself on deeper levels. After taking time off to start her own family she brought them back to her home state of Minnesota to share her love of lakes, snow and the beautiful seasons. Megan appreciates art and beauty on all levels, particularly that which comes from personal curiosity and inner seeking.
Megan has worked with a range of populations . She has worked with teens and adults. She has had experience with addictions, at-risk youth, Anger issues, family of origin issues, developmental and acute trauma & PTSD. She has worked in a variety of clinical settings such as an addictions center, wilderness therapy and private practice.
Megan graduated with a BS in Psychology from UMD in 2001 and a MA in Transpersonal Psychology Counseling from Naropa University in 2005. She has spent the past 6 years specializing in trauma, by studying how it shows up in the body and psyche as well as how to address it by tapping into the unconscious

Megan utilizes EMDR, meditation, dreamwork, authentic movement and breath work to access the inner world she believes to be rich in healing resources. The answers are within and beyond the person, but are always available to us, we need only ask. There will be an answer.
