Personal Information

I am a licensed social worker in Washington state with over 20 years experience in medical social work.  I have worked in medical systems with individual and families; four years ago I started a private practice to reconnect with clients.   I can provide Reiki virtually, it is a very effective in reducing anxiety and panic.   I am spritual with strong connection with Mother Earth; I love crystals and I feel blessed to help others find their light.  

Qualifications

I have worked as a Medical Social Worker for over 20 years; I received two degrees in Social Work at North Carolina State and University of Washington.  I have worked with individuals and familes in many phases of life and situations.  In the last five years, my focus has been developing spiritualy while adding skills to my therapuetic practice with certification in heart centered hypnotherapy and soon to be certified in EMDR.  

Specialties & Issues

I work best with patients who struggle with depression, anxiety, trauma and co-dependency.  I am well versed in cognitive behaviral therapy and hypnotherapy with a  focus on mindfullnes. I am a Rieki practitioner, crystal healer and a social work leader in health care.  I am a great combination of pracitcal theory, eastern philosophy and experince. 

Approach

I offer online therapy to clients all across the state of Washington state.  I have a true passion for helping people which is why I became a social worker.  My greatest joy is to help my clients feel safe and comfortable, then see them grow and become their best selves.  I have life experience, therapuetic skills, and a real desire to connect with people who are struggling.  Relationship is the key to all effective change. 

I am ready to listen with intention and challenge you to see things in a different perspective.  Talking to someone will likely help you - however, changing thoughts, feelings, and behaviors will make the difference.  Action is required to regain happiness and wholeness.  I am ready to help you take those actions. 

Insurance

I currently do not take insurance but will provide you with a Super Bill that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
