Personal Information
I have worked for 30 years with many different medical conditions both acute and chronic conditions, the last 20 years in neurological rehabilitation including brain injury, strokes and spinal cord injuries. As I move through my own journe y I have learned that self-compassion and resiliency can be great tools in embracing our gifts and creating a meaningful life.
Qualifications
I have my Masters in social work and I’m a licensed clinical social worker in Idaho. I received my Masters Degree of Social Work in 1992 from California University of Long Beach.
I am a certified brain injury specialist. I also have certifications in trauma, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Telemental Health (CBIS, CCTP-level 2, C-DBT, and CTMH).

Specialties & Issues
I provide individual counseling with an integrated approach for chronic pain, chronic health condition and issues that impact quality of life such as (relationships problems, stress, trauma, adjustments, transitions, finding balance, self-acceptance, life stresses, and pain/medical issues). I have been trained in EMDR through the EMDR Institute. I also have training in cognitive behavior therapy, cognitive behavior therapy for insomnia, internal family systems, positive psychology, pain management, stress management dialectical behavioral therapy and mindfulness.
