Trauma can leave you feeling alone, hopeless, angry, and afraid. You didn’t ask for trauma, but it found you anyway. Now, you are left to pick up the pieces. The thing you want most is to go back to how things were before the trauma but you can’t seem to rewind the clock. Unfortunately, this desire to time travel and change the past or control the future keeps us even more stuck in trauma and PTSD because it gets in the way of confronting these demons. Add to this struggle the difficulties of finding a good trauma therapist and healing can feel impossible. I am here to help you overcome these hurdles to recovery, once and for all.

Personal Information
As a trauma psychologist, my primary goal is to make therapy accessible to all trauma survivors. I know how hard it can be to find a competent and approachable therapist, especially as a trauma survivor. As a client, I believe the main deciding factor should be whether you feel safe and comfortable to work with me as we process your trauma. That said, if we do not seem to be a good fit at any point, I will be your greatest advocate to find a better fit.
My approach to therapy is to be genuine, first and foremost. Unless I am my genuine self, I don’t believe I can truly connect with my clients. After that, I want to find the right treatment approach to help my clients meet their treatment goals. This may include evidence based treatment for PTSD and/or other individualized approaches to treating symptoms caused by trauma.
