Hello! Thank you for stopping by my page. My name is Gabriele Cash and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I currently serve clients in the beautiful state of Flordia and have been practicing for the last 13 years. I have worked with a wide variety of clients which includes children, teenagers, young adults, adults, couples and families. It is my belief that positive life changes can occur when a safe, empathic and supportive space is provided. I commend those willing to open themselves up and invite this positive change and allow me to join them on this journey. When provided with the opportunity to share our thoughts, feelings and emotions with someone, that process in itself, creates healing and therefore change. It is also my belief that if you as an individual change, those close to you will also change. As your safe space provider, I will encourage and facilitate growth in a direction that works best for you and for your life. The ultimate goal is mental health and happiness. I look forward to discussing my therapeutic modality in more detail with and you and getting started!

Personal Information
I have always known that I wanted to be a therapist. From the young age of 9, I had made the decision to dedicate my life to helping others through a loving and safe support system. I followed my dreams and was able to obtain my license in Marriage and Family Therapy in the state of Florida. I am married with a young son and two sweet fur babies that will frequently join in on my phone or video sessions.
Qualifications
After moving to Florida from California, I received my Associates Degree from St. Petersburg College. I then transferred to the University of South Florida where I received my Bachelors in Psychology. From there I moved back to California to receive my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Alliant International University, Irvine.
I then, once again, moved across the country back to Florida where I completed my Internship with my mentor Kenneth Rosen, at Individual & Family Services in Largo, Florida. I have been in practice for 13 years serving the community of Pinellas County as well as offering telemental health through the online platforms of Better Help and Faithful Counseling. -
Specialties & Issues
I provide counseling for individuals struggling with a mixture of issues, from depression, anxiety and self-esteem issues. One of my main focus and passion is women's issues, specifically, women struggling with infertility and walking the path towards becoming a mother. Their journey is a very difficult one and I find that a supportive outside relationship with someone that personally understands that journey can be a healing and helpful experience.

Approach
As a therapist, I find that I am eclectic in my approach. I do not believe that there is one size fits all fix. I find that I utilize a mixture of Cognitive Behavioral, effective coping skills and systems theory to address family history. I am a huge believer of strength-based therapy. Finding those strengths encourages my clients to call upon themselves to address the issues head-on and giving the client the power to figure out what works best for them and for their lives. -
