Along with being a counselor, I am a Wife and a Mother of 4 adult sons. I love to dance, listen to music, watch movies, and spend quality time with my Family. I also love spending time outdoors in nature, enjoying the simple things in life!
I began my work in Mental Health working with Young Adults helping them to navigate multiple systems and transition skillfully into adulthood. From there I went on to work at a Day Program. I had the opportunity of providing Individual and Group Counseling to a courageous community of individuals who taught me that the counseling relationship is circular and we learn from each other. Later, I transitioned into work as a Crisis Responder. I supported individuals in their communities providing assistance in place of and in collaboration with Police response, providing assessments for individuals entering emergency rooms, court rooms, and housing shelters, assisting all with obtaining the approriate level of care and maintaining safety.
I am most fulfilled when I am helping others. I enjoy the experience of knowing that a part of my happiness is connected to the success of others. I love being a counselor and I do this work truly from the heart offering honest and genuine support.

My objective in counseling is to offer structured support with the development of coping skills for managing life stress and life challenges while exploring self-care techniques to increase overall daily wellness. My mission is to provide assistance to individuals with developing the tools to recognize inner strengths and abilities through increasing self awareness and overcoming barriers to living life authentically.
I utilize an existential lens with a person-centered approach believing each person has the freedom, the power, and the responsibility to be their own best version of themselves.
