I am a licensed clinical psychologist in Pittsburgh. I graduated from Vassar College in 1995 with general and departmental honors in psychology. I received my doctorate in clinical psychology from the Medical College of Pennsylvania/Hahnemann University (now at Drexel University) in 2001. I completed my predoctoral internship at the University of Maryland at Baltimore. The focus of her graduate work was severe mental illness, including schizophrenia and schizoaffective disorder. Approach

My primary approach is psychodynamic in nature, although I also have extensive training in cognitive-behavioral therapies. 

- Intensive Short Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP) Certified Therapist - Core Training Completed with the New Washington School of Psychiatry. 

- Level 2 trained in Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP)

- Level 3 trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, through Behavioral Tech.  

- Certified in Cognitive Processing Therapy and Prolonged Exposure Therapy through the Department of Veterans Affairs
