Sometimes what feels like not being good enough is actually your sense of perfectionism getting in the way. Perfectionism involves setting unreachable standards. Anything short you consider failure. It can make you feel depressed, frustrated, anxious and at times angry. I will work with you to identify perfectionistic thinking and learn to use the tools to overcome it.
Anxiety can affect all aspects of your life, including relationships with loved ones and your job. Anxiety can lead to diminished confidence in your abilities and can be a large and burdensome factor in your life. Learning to identify the roots and triggers of anxiety, as well as strategies to cope and overcome it can free you up to lead the life you have been working so hard for.
Self-doubt and imposter syndrome can stop you in your tracks. You hold a strong belief that you are inadequate, despite the evidence that you are skilled and competent. You are frequently worried that eventually someone will discover that you are a fraud and your negative self-talk is sabotaging your ability to move forward. You CAN learn to believe in yourself and understand what is at the root of your self-doubt. I will partner with you to gain the confidence to be the person you aspire to be.

I bring a diverse set of experiences to my therapy practice. Before I became a therapist, I worked as a consultant in the tech industry, as well as a life coach who supported women in achieving career success. I received my LCSW and have spent the last 10 years supporting a diverse set of clients with their mental health and counseling needs.
My therapy style is real, down to earth and transparent. I really enjoy laughing with my clients, giving honest feedback and partnering with them as they grow. I take a behavioral approach that is forward focused and I hold the strong belief that every woman can learn to value herself in her entirety and deserves a life that brings her joy.

Grit and Grace therapy is on your terms: it’s private, confidential and personalized. You can come to therapy without facing any of the hassles of traditional therapy. You don’t have to look for parking, you can wear your comfortable pants (work from home pjs anyone?) and you can drink your favorite tea. Our sessions are always face to face via encrypted video therapy.

Brief Consultation - Free During our free consultation, we can get to know each other and discuss how online therapy will help you. In this session, we will talk about the best ways to work together. I use a secure video platform that is easy to access and easy to use.
Individual Face-to-Face Counseling - $160 Most clients meet with me weekly for a scheduled 50-minute counseling session. Our sessions are face-to- face through secure video, so you get real-time help and support. I utilize strengths-based treatment strategies and solutions focused interventions to help you face your barriers and achieve the life you desire.
In-Depth Initial Intake - $200 When you decide to schedule, we’ll begin with a 75-minute initial assessment to more fully understand your current concerns and goals for therapy. This meeting will also include the establishment of an initial treatment plan.
We do not currently accept insurance at this time.
